WORDshop: Session 27 – Let the Word Be Your Guide

As we move into the new year, people are choosing a guide word or words for the year. I encourage you to bring the Holy Spirit into that selection process so that you can walk in the steps that God has ordered for you!

Psalm 119:105, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”

Read John 15:1-17

Galatians 6:7-9, “Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. 8For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. 9And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”

Proverbs 4:25-26, “Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you.26 Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways.”

Colossians 3:1-4, “If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.”

Ephesians 4:21-24, Since you have heard about Jesus and have learned the truth that comes from him, 22throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception. 23Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. 24Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy.”
